GRABER VERTICAL BLINDS SPECIFICATIONS

HEADRAIL: Satin Finish anodized aluminum alloy 6063-T5, measuring 1 15/16 in width and  1 3/8”  in height with a thickness of 0.050”.  Custom color matching available with minimum requirement.

CARRIERS:  Molded acetal with a detachable stem, molded in clear, non-yellowing, high impact-resistant nylon.  Carrier stem is replaceable without demounting headrail.  Carriers traverse on self-lubricating wheels and have stems positioned in the center, making track reversible.

ROTATION CONTROL:  A #10 nickel-plated bead chain equipped with two tassels will rotate a planetary gear system.  This drives an extruded (0.300 dia) aluminum pinion rod that rotates carrier stems.  Additionally, our standard E-Z open feature will open louvers if traverse cord is operated.

TRAVERSING and SPACING:  This is achieved with a pantograph system made of hard-tempered 18 gauge (0.046”) plated steel, providing uniform spacing.  Louvers overlap no less than 3/8”.  Traverse cord is #3 (0.094”) in diameter with a minimum tensile strength of 125 lbs.  Standard traverse control is our E-Z Open feature, which has cords equipped with a cord weight and cord clip that is positioned right above the cord weight and anchored to the wall or window jamb.  A cord tension pulley without E-Z Open is optional.  Stack release is available as an option allowing for louvers to be moved away from control end for window cleaning.

LOUVERS:  Available in 3 ½” wide fabric and 2”& 3 ½” PVC.  2” PVC available in white and ivory only. Fabric louvers can be inserted in white or ivory channel panel louvers.  Standard is no bottom chain, with a single chain as an option.  Fabric louvers contain a sewn-in weight.  Fabric lovers are flame resistant and comply with the NFPA Standard 701 Small Scale Test and the California Fire Marshal Title 19:1237.1 Small Scale Test.  PVC louvers comply with the NFPA Standard Large Scale Test.

INSTALLATION BRACKETS:  Ceiling mount brackets are spring clips made of zinc plated heat treated spring steel.  For wall mount brackets, the spring clip is attached to 4” long angel brackets of zinc plated steel.

SIZE LIMITATIONS:   Maximum width is 191”.  Maximum height is 144”.

CHAIN and CORD CONTROL OPTIONS:   Available options are one way draw stack left or right, one way draw with opposite stack, center opening (split in middle) and center stack.  E-Z open not available with opposite stack, center stack or off-center stack.
